Shirin has an incredibly calming demeanor. She listens intently, gives thoughtful and supportive feedback, and her advice is constructive and helpful. Oftentimes I find myself implementing coping mechanisms and approaching situations in a more positive and thoughtful way after our sessions. She helps me through all spectrums of my life, encouraging me to work through past traumas, present hardships and future dreams with an empathetic and compassionate attitude. Sharing listens and helps me talk through frustrations. She offers coping skills and responds to me in a timely manner.

Even though Shirin and I have only had a few sessions, I already feel that she has been a great help. She’s always respectful and immersive in all of our conversations during our sessions but even outside our sessions she follows up with me and reminds that she’s there if I need someone to talk to. Sending me worksheets and questioners that I complete on my own time in between our session; I’ve noticed has also helped the both of us get a clearer idea of my priorities and it helps us find topics to talk about during our sessions!
