About me
You've already succeeded, you took the first step, you reached out to find solutions to the unsettling emotions/ issues you've been experiencing. As a Marriage/Family therapist and trauma specialist, I work with you collaboratively, advocating and supporting you to strengthen your voice and become more assertive in your life. I often work with clients that feel stuck, helping them create a life that is vibrant and alive. Imagine being present without needing to numb the pain when triggers or challenges arise. Let me guide you whether as an individual a couple or family.
In sessions we'll decode emotional patterns, clarify systems that developed and strengthen the family's communication skills to enhance unity by embracing each other's differences. EMDR and Somaticlly trained, I work with PTSD/spectrum/bipolar disorders; increasing awareness of the nervous system/sensory integration/social skills that need boosting for connection.
When advocating for survivors of abuse I often see survivors in the most distant places becoming alive again. I have supported them in rebuilding their identity and trust while relearning to connect in a grounded way. Sessions always incorporate the mind and body. Phone and video sessions available.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Shoshanah Glucksman. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I don’t even know where to begin with all the amazing things I have to say about Shoshanah. She was an absolutely amazing therapist. During our first session she asked what my goals were and what I hoped to take from therapy and after telling her she focused on that and made it happen. She helped me process emotions I would have otherwise kept in me. She introduced me to helpful techniques like EMDR, tapping techniques, building a safe place for myself as well as other “places” within me to overcome anxiety, stress, depression, unworthiness and helped me recognize the positive in me. We practiced these techniques during session and she helped me understand them so that I could continue it in between sessions on my own time. Shoshanah recommended great books, articles, worksheets, and videos that helped me have a better understanding of myself, my husband and our relationship. She was incredibly patient, understanding, supportive, respectful and did an awesome job at checking in on my nervous system. This part of my life has been the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through and I am beyond grateful to have worked together with her. She’s been a true blessing. She helped me when I realized I needed to seek therapy to salvage my marriage, she helped me when I realized my marriage was too toxic to salvage, and she helped me when I realized for myself that I needed out. Thank you so much Shoshanah for helping me come out of this a stronger, more confident, and peaceful woman and helping me see just how proud I should be of myself.

Words are not enough to describe how GREAT Shoshanah is.
SHE KNOWS HER STUFF!!!
If you experienced a traumatic experience in your life and you don't know what to do or where to start, don't do therapy if you're not going to do it with Shoshanah. She will turn your sad and painful tears into happy tears! I was a survivor of domestic violence but it left a huge impact on my life and it started to affect my daily performance. In a single session, Shoshanah processed my trauma and got rid of my flashbacks. She brought "life" back to my life. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL THE HELP!

I have been in therapy for years and felt like I was in a rut, unable to progress beyond learning the basic coping skills. With Shoshanah’s expertise in cognitive therapy, I finally feel capable of rewiring my neuronetworks and experiencing really growth!
