Sierra Slay, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Doctorate in Social Work and over seven years of experience in clinical practice. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients navigating a diverse range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and complex life transitions. My background as a college professor also allows me to bring a unique, educational perspective to our work together, helping to break down complex emotional patterns into manageable insights.
My therapy style is warm, authentic, and highly collaborative. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a grounded, compassionate space where you feel seen and respected. I am deeply committed to a non-stigmatizing approach, focusing on your inherent strengths rather than just a set of symptoms.
I utilize an integrative approach, pulling from various evidence-based modalities to ensure our work is specifically tailored to your goals. Whether you are navigating the complexities of modern dating, managing parenting hurdles, or seeking personal growth, I will adapt our dialogue to meet your unique needs.
Taking the first step toward change requires significant courage. If you are ready to explore a more fulfilling path, I am here to support and empower you throughout that journey.
I look forward to working with you!
