About me

I am a qualified counsellor in the UK with extensive life and professional experience, and I am passionate about helping adults overcome challenges and create more fulfilling, balanced lives. I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or affected by past experiences, often after coping alone for a long time.

My work has centred on supporting clients with stress and anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma and abuse, low self-esteem, confidence issues, and loss of motivation. I have extensive experience helping clients safely explore and reprocess difficult or traumatic experiences, allowing them to reduce emotional distress and move forward with greater clarity and resilience.

My Training & Therapeutic Approach

I work interactively, adapting therapy to each individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. My work is grounded in warmth, respect, and collaboration, while also being thoughtful, honest, and purposeful. I aim to help clients understand how past experiences may be influencing their present and to develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

I am fully trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and use this approach where appropriate to help clients reprocess traumatic memories, reduce anxiety, and build emotional stability. EMDR can be particularly effective for trauma, distressing life events, and long-standing emotional patterns.
