About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from George Williams College in 2013. Establishing a therapeutic relationship, trust and honesty with clients is essential in my clinical approach. I use an eclectic combination of solution focus and motivational interviewing tailored to meet your specific needs and learning style. My therapeutic approach utilizes Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I believe in being strength based, and encourage looking to our weaknesses to find unknown strength and potential.
I am creative in my practice. I do not characterize myself as a traditional therapist. I am more opened and expressive. I enjoy helping and supporting individuals to strengthen themselves and accomplish their goals through gaining insight, self-awareness, and self-esteem. I have experience providing psychotherapy for stress and anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, as well as family therapy.
I believe it takes a lot of courage to seek out change in order to gain a more satisfying life. This is your first step to a healthier, happier and empowered self. I believe in you! I look forward to working with you.
