Hi, my name is Stacey Bohlmann. I am credentialed in the state of South Dakota as a LPC-MH, (Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health), a LAC (Licensed Addiction Counselor) and as a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional)
I am glad you took your first step of reaching out to me. I believe there are times in our lives when we need someone to help us navigate through our experiences. Whether it is dealing with a deep sadness, having an anxious mood, having trauma or making important decisions regarding life and/or relationships, this is a good place to work through this things.
In my practice, I am “laid back”, meaning I am accepting of all people I work with and am honored to meet them where they are at in their journey toward wellness. I tend to pose thoughts as questions in order to allow a person the freedom to search within themselves for various possible solutions. My goal is to provide a safe, secure environment that promotes healing from mental and emotional pain.
I provide services from a person centered, reality, existential base while keeping in mind short term solution focused therapy. Through the use of multiple modalities, based on each individual’s needs, I help people consider their situation and discover options in their life that will help them feel control over their life and situation. I believe that when we are trying to make changes in our life, many time it takes practice to master “problem areas” thus, my belief is that it is healthy for each of us to feel comfortable and confident to approach therapy at various times throughout life.

Stacey has helped me tremendously over the past several months. When I started working with her I was very anxious and depressed.
She listened patiently, even when I felt like my words were a jumble, and helped me identify the things that were weighing on me.
She gives me such great insight into how to perhaps consider things from a different angle and that helps me approach concerns more positively.
It's just great to know that there's someone I can depend on to listen non-judgmentally and not make me feel 'wrong' for how I'm feeling.
It's wonderful to feel validated and to know that I have someone to help me.
Stacey was very helpful in helping me work through issues related to depression/anxiety, addiction(s), and as my mental health needs have changed, she has been incredibly helpful in working with these as well! She is knowledgeable, has relatable life experience, and is an excellent listener.
I think my favorite part of working with Stacey is that she doesn't let me settle. She questions me and it always brings me to a 'homework' place I focus on for the next week. Best thing I ever did was to sign up for help.
I appreciate having time with Stacey. She really listens to my thoughts and concerns. I always find something I can take away from our conversations that help me process and handle things in a better way. She is truly great!
Stacey has been a God send. She has listened and metabolized my conflicts carefully and offered articulate advice. Her guidance has offered me a route to lessen anxiety and work towards solutions. I am grateful.
Stacey is great to talk with, she’s very objective and supportive. She is quick to respond to my messages and has gone the long haul with me. She is knowledgeable about various resources that could be of help in situations.
Stacey does a great job.
Very knowledgeable and understanding. Tremendous at just letting you find what works for you instead of “making” it work
I am so thankful I was matched with someone that I felt comfortable with. I felt like Stacey listened to my issues and gave me great insight. You can tell she is passionate about helping others.
She is very helpful listens to everything and give advice that is helpful
I have felt that Stacey heard me and helps me process in a very productive way!
Stacey has certainly taken every bit of time to get to know why I am reaching out. And while there is a lot to uncover and work through, she is incredibly understanding, relatable, and invested in my care. I’m very grateful for the pairing!
Stacy has been great at meeting us where we are. We are able to discuss our issues and really figure out our behavior and make true changes.
Stacey is wonderful and I'm so thankful to have been matched with her. She not only applies her expertise to everything we've discussed, but she does so in such a compassionate and understanding manner that I feel like I'm talking to a very wise, life-long friend. She's easy to trust and under her counseling I've been finding myself quickly and willingly opening doors to my self that I've kept closed and locked for way too long. She has this personable way about her that will make you feel so comfortable and at ease, even when discussing the hardest stuff. I'm truly grateful for the light and growth she's bringing into my little world.
Very prompt at getting back to me. Great help

Stacey has been great. She has "listened" to me vent going on and on, and being patient to respond with thoughtful advice and suggestions for me to maintain a balanced life and remain positive.
Stacey is a very kind, educated, and genuine woman who cares about the well being of her patients. She’s always just a chat away and will check in to make sure everything is okay. I would recommend her to anyone!
Sooo easy to talk with. No judgements. We totally have a connection.
I recently started working with Stacey Bohlmann and I have only good things to say about her. She is respectful and understanding and gets straight to the point. Communicating with her is a breeze. I was wary of the whole online counselling thing but she has made it so much easier to get help.
I haven’t worked with Stacey long, but already I am impressed by her. She is great at listening and really hearing me, as well as picking up on nonverbal cues during video calls. She’s very receptive and nonjudgemental, even when I speak in a raw way about topics that may be considered delicate. I am grateful for the chance to work with Stacey!
Stacey has been exactly what I needed. I started having terrible anxiety after my emergency c section and then the coronavirus pandemic right after that
I knew I needed to get help. Stacey has been insightful, attentive and humourous. Highly recommend
