Stacey Conner, LPC
About me
Hi and thank you for taking time to read my profile! I have been working in the counseling field in various settings and a variety of populations for over twenty-five years. I am a licensed professional counselor in Texas specializing in therapy for women. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship and intimacy issues, parenting problems, career challenges, postpartum depression, and hormone-related mood disorders.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I take this work very seriously, but myself, not so much. The therapy environment should feel comfortable, friendly and open so that my clients achieve a level of connection and vulnerability that allows them to make real and lasting changes in their lives.
My approach combines EFT (emotion-focused therapy), relational and solution-focused counseling. Every client is unique, as are their counseling needs, so together we will tailor a treatment plan that works best for you and the goals you set during our sessions.
It takes courage to reach out for help and seek a more fulfilling life. Change can be difficult as can prioritizing yourself and your mental and emotional needs. If you are ready to move forward toward a better and happier version of yourself, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Stacey has been a great encouragement to me as I navigate the emotional coaster of divorce, along with working through childhood issues. She is kind, caring, and listens closely as I share my feelings. She is a wonderful counselor.

Stacy has already been so helpful to me in dealing with all my painful and complicated emotions I’m working through while going through a divorce. She has knowledge and expertise to guide me to think about my thinking and change my thinking in a sensitive and supportive way. I don’t feel stupid or inferior. I feel heard and supported.

Stacey makes me feel comfortable and is extremely comforting. She is my first therapist and I can tell she really listens and wants to help. She brings things up from previous sessions and shows real empathy. I look forward to speaking with her each week.
