About me

Life can bury us in some overwhelming circumstances at seemingly the most inopportune time. With therapy, skill building, and the right supports in place, we can live purposeful and well-intended lives. My name is Stacia Marcellin and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker. With more than 14 years as a behavioral and mental health professional, I have helped clients and their families adjust to the changing dynamics of a new job, a new baby, employment stressors (i.e. horrible boss), and financial stress. I have helped overwhelmed and frustrated professionals find work-life balance, and I have helped new moms struggling through perinatal and post-partum concerns. In fact, I entered into this profession because I hoped to make an impact on families. I attended North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. After teaching for several years, I decided to go back to school so that I could support families more. I attended Smith College in Northampton, MA and received my Master of Social Work. When I became a mother, I became keenly aware of the unique challenges that parents face. Both my experience and training have allowed me to develop a comprehensive skill set to assist my clients in developing a self-awareness and mental wellness. I also specialize in Women's wellness and Maternal Mental Health.

In partnership, we can discover new skills together to help you find your healthy balance. If you are looking for tools and are ready to take action steps, contact me today. One of my greatest joys is being there to see my clients overcome their biggest challenges and helping them to tap into the answers that they already have. I look forward to supporting you on your wellness journey.

Stacia Marcellin is absolutely wonderful. In only a few months, her counseling has given me the tools to better manage my anxiety. I am very comfortable discussing any topic and nothing is too big or small. Also, scheduling appointments is a breeze and she regularly checks in. I highly recommend scheduling a session!
