About me

I have experience in helping clients with trauma and abuse. This can include rape, sexual assault, domestic abuse, grooming, neglect and abuse endured from parents or family members in childhood. I also have experience in helping clients coping with grief and loss, eating disorders, loneliness, parenthood, processing a diagnosis i.e. ADHD, schizophrenia, anxiety, autism, anxiety, depression and PTSD.

I work with university students at a different company and provide 1-2-1 counselling and coaching sessions to help students navigate university, process a diagnosis they may have received during their time at university and help students process and explore parts of their life that continue to impact them.

I am an ongoing volunteer at women's aid as a counsellor and phone buddy. I provide 1-2-1 sessions covering domestic abuse, childhood abuse, sexual assault, processing the impact of family and criminal court, complexity of motherhood, abortion and miscarriages.

In 2023 I delivered a workshop that I created called the complexity of skin colour at the University of Salford. Since then, I have worked with people facing racism in the workplace, addressing the everyday microaggressions, parents navigating racism. I also provide resources to educate and empower clients and their children.

During 2017-2019 I used a mixture of coaching and NLP skills alongside my personal training to help women build a better relationship with their body and food. I created a 12-week interactive booklet to help clients reflect on their relationship with food and create a new relationship with food. This booklet can be incorporated into your journey if the reason for starting therapy is due to body image challenges, diagnosed and undiagnosed eating disorders. It is not a replacement for seeking medical advice.

The best way to know if I am right for you is to experience a session and decide if you would like to work together going forward.

I just want you to know if you do decide to work through your trauma with me, I always say trauma is like a jigsaw puzzle. You don’t quite know how many pieces there are until you start unpacking your trauma and that is okay. I would like you to see me as a pillar, somebody you can lean on whilst you navigate your traumas, worries and fears. We all need someone to lean on sometimes.

I have many barriers that make all my problems hard to understand, but she's really good at listening to my thoughts!

If you want someone easy to talk to, kind, and non-judgmental, go to her directly
