About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ( LCSW) and have worked in multiple settings for over 9 years, advocating, coaching and providing guidance for individuals with concerns including anxiety, stress, depression, isolation/loneliness, grief, loss, bereavement, end of life / hospice, compassion fatigue, forgiveness, self care, self esteem, life purpose and coping with life changes. I have worked with individuals at different stages of Cancer survivorship and end of life.
I strive to make the therapy experience genuine, positive, respectful and safe. My communication style is warm, kind and engaging. I do not believe in using stigmatizing labels. Although I am not an expert in LBGTQ+ issues/experience yet, I am educated and my practice approach is LBGTQ+ affirming, respectfully.
My therapeutic approach is solution focused, client centered and strength based drawing heavily from cognitive behavioral and humanistic therapies. I believe human beings have the amazing capacity to self heal, inspire, empower, learn from others but most vastly learn from our own struggles, challenges and triumphs. Therapy is a process that can help you discover the lesson or silver lining your problem has presented to you. Therapy can also help you discover new and better ways of thinking and coping with challenges you face.
Each of us has unique gifts that if discovered and embraced can help guide us to a more peaceful, joyful and fulfilling life. I applaud you in reaching out and taking the first steps toward seeking a happier life.

Stephanie's approach is very much that experienced friend. She is open and friendly while also bringing perspective to instances that I can't see from within the storm. I love how it feels like we are walking together while unraveling situations.

Stephanie has been an absolute blessing. She's extremely supportive, understanding, patient, and practical. She helped me create plans to work on things that I needed to get better at and also helped me build a toolbox of skills that I can use when things get challenging. I can't recommend her enough.

I am so thankful I found my therapist who listens and is available when things are really tough. She’s just the best and remembers things I’ve told her. It’s nice to have someone outside my social circle who knows what’s happening in my life and can help me process it in a healthy way

Stephanie is an exceptional therapist. I’m so thankful to have connected with her. She listens so well, and knows how and when to offer help. Her support has been life changing. Even when I feel like I might not have “an issue” to discuss, she’s supportive and helps me maintain good healthy habits. I’d highly recommend her to anyone!
