About me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 9 years experience. My bachelors degree is in professional child and family development. I have worked with a wide range of clients and concerns. From relationship, to parenting problems, to foster care, bonding, high risk youth, trauma, loss, self-esteem, crisis management, to anxiety, work related issues, self harm, domestic violence, financial concerns animal assisted therapy.
I am often described as caring, accepting, passionate and knowledgeable. I believe in building rapport with client is an essential key to opening up the lines of communication. I am a highly empathetic person who works hard to help others get to a better place. I believe that everyone has the right to find happiness. I love working with animals as well and in my private practice I usually have my therapy dog or one of my animals from our therapeutic ranch available for client support. I am a open and honest person and clients typically find that makes it easy to trust our relationship.
I live in a small community which has allowed me to wear many hats. I actively serve on our community Volunteer Fire Department as a Fire Fighter, but mostly as a Licensed EMT. I truly enjoy helping people in their moments of need.

Stephanie has been my therapist for well over a year now. I enjoy talking to her about my issues and how to work through them. She provided things I can do to help me work through things.

Stephanie is awesome! She has experience in like a billion different areas, and even if she doesn’t have experience in a certain area, she can definitely help in one way or another.

She’s the best! Very easy to connect with. Doesn’t feel so much like the stereotypical therapy and more of a conversation where she shares a bit about herself and her experiences as well.
