About me

Hi there! Kudos to you for reaching out for support! I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Michigan and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Missouri, with over 12 years of experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds. I got my BSW from Oakland University and my MSW from Wayne State University. I spent 10 years as a medical social worker in a hospital setting. I also volunteered for hospice. I have been working as a telehealth therapist and home health medical social worker for the past 3 years. My experiences include issues relating to grief and loss, adjusting to illness, life changes, family/relationship conflict, stress and anxiety, self-esteem, and addiction. I am an eclectic therapist who specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. I'm here to teach you coping skills to help you help yourself. Together we will explore your past experiences and analyze your thoughts to help you get to know yourself as much as possible. I will be your nonjudgmental cheerleader on your journey of overcoming personal challenges and reaching goals!

When I'm not working, I love reading, traveling, listening to music, doing karate, gardening, playing with my french bulldogs, and watching movies. YOLO is my personal motto!

I applaud you for reaching out for support! I look forward to getting to know you and helping you live your best life :)

Stephanie is always responsive. She listens thoughtfully and provides actionable solutions that have made my life (and my anxiety) so much easier to manage. I would highly recommend her to anyone else who is looking for a therapist who can offer anxiety management / CBT methods.

Stephanie has been amazingly helpful for me. I was not sure I wanted to start therapy - I knew it would be helpful but I have had trouble finding the best fit. Stephanie immediately made me comfortable and I never feel judged or scared to be honest and open with her. She genuinely cares about what I’m saying and is very cognizant of how to deliver her advice in the best manner. I recommend!
