Hello, my name is Stephanie I’m a licensed clinical therapist that I received from the University of Southern Mississippi. I have practiced for over 15 years. Through my work, I am committed to helping people overcome addictions to alcohol and drugs, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and other stresses that affect all of us at some time in our lives. I also have experience with working with the LGTBQ COMMUNITY. If you identify as queer or unclear/unidentified along the sexual orientation spectrum; with mid/end-of-life struggles, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, grief/loss or with sex offender history.
I cooperatively assist my clients in clarifying their goals for treatment. Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues, I draw from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation. As a therapist, I am warm, open, encouraging, and direct. I consider myself an active therapist, combining experience, education, creativity, and sense of humor with a down-to-earth, realistic approach to counseling.

So far she has been wonderful. The bar was set really low by my last therapist and I just wanted someone who even would meet with me every week and its been a short time, but already Stephanie has been on time, has squeezed me in, has listened, has helped me with my mental mess. I would recommend her to anyone. P.S. plus I love her hair (I'm a cosmetologist I just wanted her to know!!!)

I’ve been seeing Stephane for a little under a month now. Im 36 I had a extremely rough life especially childhood so I have bad trust issues. As well as opening up to people. Stephanie energy and approach is so organic and sincere! I love having a safe place to vent/ unload! When I tell you my life have change for the best! I’m able to communicate with friends and family in a healthy manner! My husband said we been together for 4 years and I never seen this soft, sweet, loving side of you! My father had told me this is the first time that I spoke to you and you aren’t cussing like a sailor because I upset you! The best decision I made was choosing Stephane she’s a very spirt and she don’t have a one approach fits all mentality! By me healing my self I’m able to heal generations to come! Stephane is truly a blessing!

Stephanie Latresha is an incredible therapist who genuinely cares for her patients. She me feel like a priority & understands my needs very well. I've grown more & more comfortable opening up & sharing things with her I've otherwise found difficult to express.
The techniques & coping strategies she provides feel completely tailored to me & my mental health journey. I struggle from major depression & Steph takes me feel like she's fighting my battle with me . She really listens, she really cares & in the short time I've spent in therapy with her I can honestly say I feel immeasurably better from when I started using BetterHelp. I would highly recommend Stephanie to anyone, she is an amazing therapist who provides support & encouragement in a way that feels naturally authentic.
She is an amazing asset to have in your corner & I know I'm better because of it.

Stephanie is a wonderful person to talk to. I always leave the sessions I have with her feeling uplifted, even if I'm having a really bad day. She is so supportive and really helps to pick out the positives in life that can be easy to overlook if you're feeling low. I also really appreciate her perspectives and she's been a great source of guidance and support for me in this tough time that I'm going through.
