About me

I am licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Maine. I worked for 3 years as an in-home counselor for families with children struggling with behavioral and emotional problems ages 6-16. I have more then 8 years of experience in the field and I have specialized in intensive substance use and co-occurring disorders. I am grateful to be in recovery myself and I truly enjoy sharing hope with those in their darkest hours. Addictive thinking can be traced to uncover the most life changing opportunities when someone is open for help. I have experience with couples, one on one, in-home, and group counseling. I have helped many people with a variety of challenging issues ranging from depression, anxiety, and stress, to substance use, sexual addiction, and loss of purpose. I am a Christian who believes that God truly is love and I encourage all of my clients to develop their spirituality in the pursuit of health and happiness.

So many people are completely overwhelmed with life's circumstances that they cannot tell what the problem really is or how to face it and overcome it. I am here to help you along that journey and share what guidance and insight I possess.
