About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with experience in the social services field for almost 10 years. I have worked in several areas including a community mental health center, a college counseling center, and an inpatient residential treatment center. My passion is working with people to help them grow, reach their potential, set healthy boundaries with others, and know their worth. I would consider myself as an eclectic therapist who focuses on treatment for the individual. I do draw some strategies and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Practices, and Motivational Interviewing. I enjoy working with men, women, couples, and college students. I believe that there are times in life when a little extra help and support can be tremendous, and a therapeutic relationship can truly make a difference in a person’s life during those times.
