Steven Timms, LPCC

Steven and I have only been together for a few weeks now but those few weeks have been night and day for me. He listens, he questions and challenges me in ways I havent challenged myself to try and conquer my issues in ways I hadnt tried or thought of. Highly recommend Steven Timms!

Steven is really good at listening. He will break through and really hone in on what you're dealing with. He is non judgmental. He is open to all perspectives and he is respectful. I recommend Steve Timms for anyone looking for a therapist to help the. With anxiety depression or even self improvement.

Steven has been a great help for me throughout the past few months. I have gone through a lot of self worth issues, depression, betrayal, and anxiety and he helped me through it. He’s been there for me every step of the day and has challenged me.

Steven has been great! I appreciate how much he stays on a topic as long as I'd like. He also takes topic changes of mine with grace. The will to understand me is evident and appreciated when he can reiterate what I said back to me in a different way. Very respectful and cautious when approaching my traumas or emotional memories. I feel freedom and support during our sessions.

Fantastic counselor who helped me to establish clear short term and long term goals. He compassionately listened and brought the whole visit together with a respectful closing prayer. I can’t recommend him enough.

Steven has an ear for sifting through complex mental health scenarios in order to pinpoint underlying causes of the condition. He offers a biblical view on brain health along with prayer, relaxation, and methods to reduce stress and anxiety.

I highly recommend Steven. I came to him with stress from work, marriage, and having a young busy family. He has helped give me advice and strategies to better deal with the wrenches life can throw at you on a daily basis. In three short weeks, I’ve already noticed a difference with my ability to handle situations at home and at work. I intend to keep this going, because there’s no doubt I can continue to get help for the betterment of my life and my family’s life.
