I am licensed clinical social worker in Oregon with 3 years of professional therapy-related experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, historical trauma, and abuse. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
I understand that seeking someone who can hold space for your stories and experiences can be challenging and overwhelming. I know that anxiousness and uncertainty can be a part of starting therapy, and reaching out for support can be the greatest hurdle to getting connected. So, let me invite you into a space that is welcoming, inclusive, affirming, and dedicated to seeing you as human; not as flawed.
My main area of focus is trauma and assisting with psychoeducation around trauma processing and healing. I value the narratives that everyone has developed through their life journey. I offer tools that assist with the devastating moments which have integrated themselves into trauma responses to current circumstances, while integrating the importance of self-love and self-care.
Healing is a part of our story, and undoing the aloneness is a part of reestablishing the importance of community.
“Some people see scars, and it is wounding they remember. To me, they are proof of the fact that there is healing.” – Linda Hogan
