I began seeing Surilla because I was struggling with anxiety. From the start, she made me feel understood and comfortable. I noticed improvements in my mood, coping strategies, and personal relationships. Surilla was particularly helpful in helping me on how to love myself!

What I appreciated most was her empathy, professionalism, and the way they challenged me kindly. I always felt respected, even when working through difficult topics. I would highly recommend Surilla yo anyone looking for support!!! Therapy can be a vulnerable experience, and working with her a meaningful difference in my life!

I’ve only had a couple sessions with Surilla so far but you can tell she genuinely cares about what you’re going through and wants to help you. She is extremely accommodating as well which is another reason I’m blessed she’s my therapist!

I tried therapy once before Surilla and it was AWFUL. I didn’t feel heard and I didn’t feel comfortable trying it again for two years. I decided to give therapy one more shot and was matched with Surilla and she has been exactly what I needed. She asks all the right questions to get my wheels turning and I truly feel like she cares about my problems and listens to me. If you’ve never tried therapy or tried it and hated it, I would recommend seeing Surilla. She will absolutely change your mind about how you view therapy and really try to help you through whatever it is you’re going through without making you feel judged.

Surilla Lawrence is a very gentle, caring, and driven therapist from my initial experience with her. I am quite picky with therapists; although I do look forward to speaking with her now that we have begun our therapy goal work! I was nervous that my therapist and I wouldn’t exactly connect, maybe I would feel judged for my issues. My first session was amazing! I feel free to express myself. She asks insightful questions and guides me through my boggled mind to get to the answer. The worksheets help me to focus on small aspects of the big problem and help a lot. Surilla has been a beacon of light. She is kind, empathetic and encouraging. I've only been talking with Surilla for about 2 weeks now. But I use her guidance with me every day. She's helped me understand that I am of value and that I have control of how things affect me. When I started therapy I though it was going to be me doing all the talking, and the therapist just asking how does that make you feel. But it's not like that at all. She goes beyond and talks about that problem for the week, to back to the problems from the past that could lead you to where you are now. Definitely helped me realize something in only a month that we started. I can't wait to see how much she helps me heal myself in the future.
