I sought a therapist out initially to help me navigate and prepare for living donor kidney donation. Because there is a fear of the unknown. I wanted to make sure my emotions were in check throughout the process, --before, during healing, after. Emotions can be complex, especially with this unique situation. But, Susan rooted for me all the way! My recipeint and I also had to learn to navigate our relationship and new normal....Susan made that effortless, including any additional challenges. I absolutely love that she is an active listener, empathetic, uses her knowledge to & gives suggestions, and ways to tackle obstacles, problems, and relationships. She has a great sense of humor, and really understands. Life can be hard. Adulting can be even harder, but having a great resources and learning skills (to cope, manage, prepare, etc) makes life better!....So you are better equipped and prepared how to take on your day! You won't be disappointed. Her expertise in several issues and specialities shows. Susan is passionate about her profession, in helping others, and is happy to see others succeed.

Susan is a great listener. She takes good notes and gives good feedback. She is a good communicator and always messages me with my goals after our sessions. She is the one person I can count on while I unravel my past and present trauma, because she is well versed in her field and shows an incredible amount of empathy and compassion, while also being direct and realistic about next steps. I am seeking solutions, and she helps me talk through what is possible for me as a good guide should. I wish there had been more like her in my life.
