About Me

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas for over 13 years. My primary experience has been with adolescents, adults, and families in a multitude of environments. Most of my experience has been in couples therapy, overcoming trauma, depression, anxiety, stress management, chronic pain, grief, work-life balance, parenting skills, anger management, productive communication, and life transitions.

My goal is to provide a non-confrontational, safe, and supportive therapeutic environment. I believe in the power of a compassionate therapeutic relationship to bring about positive change. My approach utilizes person-centered, solution-focus, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and dialectical-behavior interventions (DBT). I tailor my methods based on your personality and preferences to meet your individual and specific goals.

It takes courage to take the first step in seeking assistance to meet your goals to lead a fulfilling life and find your joy. If you are ready, I am available to walk this journey with you.

Susan is amazing. I love the way she always listens and lets me complete my thought, and she always remembers names of those I talk about and their "role" in my issues. She remembers my goals and is purposeful in her advice.

She is very kind when she talks to me. She does encourage me, which make me feel happy. When I talk to her she can relate with some of my situations. It's nice to not feel completely alone.

Susan LeMay has been great, she makes it very easy for me to understand things in many different ways. She also makes it very easy to talk with because she does respond in a manner that lets me know that she is listening to me. She has me loving myself more than I ever have and I truly appreciate her.

When I talk to Susan it feels like I'm talking to a friend. She doesn't make me feel uncomfortable and it doesn't feel too clinical. I love that we are able to talk on the phone. I am able to relax and open up easily. She listens very well and offers great ways to incorporate positive change in my life and give me my power back. I am so happy she was my match and feel that she is the first therapist to actually help me change my life for the better. I highly recommend Susan LeMay and BetterHelp.
