About me

Susan Serge is a licensed professional counselor and nationally certified clinician with more than a decade of experience providing mental health and substance abuse counseling to adult populations. Holding multiple certifications including ASIST trainer, QPR trainer, and ACES Master Trainer, Susan’s expertise lies in meeting the unique developmental and emotional needs of each person under her care.

Since completing her Master of Arts in Community Counseling with an adult emphasis from Slippery Rock University, Susan has worked across diverse settings, from higher education and adoption networks to community mental health organizations and substance abuse recovery programs.

Susan’s clinical background includes individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, suicidal prevention training, and extensive administrative leadership in student affairs and behavioral health. She specializes in cognitive behavioral therapies with additional training in suicide prevention and postvention support.

Originally from Mercer, Pennsylvania, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband, teenage daughter and their two dogs. Deeply passionate about her work and deceiving her career as both a calling and a privilege, she grounds her practice in her faith and a lifetime commitment to helping others heal and thrive.
