About me

Hello and Welcome!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Utah with over 5 years of experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, substance abuse and career challenges. I also help many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

I have worked for several years with the incarcerated population and enjoy assisting clients in pivotal, positive transitions with introspective behavioral analysis and modifications.

My therapy style is warm, interactive and inclusive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Sooz is absolutely wonderful. She listens and does not give you that strong sense of judgement that some therapists have.

Susan has helped me so much. When I started I couldn't find a reason to keep doing what I was doing. Now I feel ready to do everything I need and even want to do. Thank you so much!!

A very easy manner & approach. Hit it off quickly with her. I appreciate her approach of candid feedback when I ask but is also supportive & conveys through down to earth language style. I feel she gets my issues & is invested in supporting my journey to honest, stable & healthy mental outlooks.
