Susan Wickett, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience working with individuals, families, and groups across the lifespan and from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I support clients navigating depression, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, substance use, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and the effects of trauma and emotional abuse.
As the spouse of a retired disabled veteran, I have personal insight into the unique demands of military life and the long-term physical and emotional impacts military service can have on veterans and their families.
My therapeutic style is warm, interactive, and straightforward. I integrate evidence-based approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, rational-emotive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy–informed practices. My goal is to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to create meaningful change and greater independence.
