About me

I'm a therapist that comes to you with a diverse and eclectic background that encompasses many of the struggles people have and seek help to address. I am licensed in several states (TN, AZ, FL, NC, IN, PA) and my style is warm and engaging. I believe that listening is the key to the most effective therapy methods. I believe that inside almost everyone is the power to heal, grow, and learn and the human spirit is a magical gift to all of us. I encourage clients to realize they have the means within them to feel better, connect deeply and point their lives in the best possible direction. Most of my experience has come from the Cognitive Behavioral bent, knowing the power given to how we perceive our world. I have also been working with Acceptance and Commitment therapy, which embraces a philosophy I can wrap my head around in that we can learn to accept things without reacting to them in often negative ways. I see the value in humor and lightness, but not to the detriment of the seriousness of the work. I believe I have an easy style and a genuine passion for seeing people make changes in their lives that enhance healing and growth.
