Sydney Humphrey, LCSW
About me
I am licensed in Oklahoma with 15+ years of professional work experience. I am a Native American of the Choctaw tribe.
I am a licensed mental health professional, however; I practice as an expert in human behavior. My mind is the mind that is providing the service and therefore has it's own unique structure. My mind does not allow me to provide services out of a book or to provide band-aid therapy. It will never be my intent to keep anyone on my caseload for extended periods of time. I understand the mind and what it is capable of and that is how I teach. We are all capable of being our own therapist as it will always be our mind that controls EVERYTHING in our life. You create your own goals as it is YOUR life. My mind can only do the work for my own mind. If you are seeking someone to make decisions in YOUR life, I am not the one for you :)

Sydney is an amazing therapist, very insightful & full of understanding! She never uses shame & when she sees you shaming yourself she does her best to build your confidence up again! I honestly couldn't ask for a better therapist! She's one of the best things to ever happen to me!

Sydney has a great job of listening to me and offering logical insight. Which is often when I need to hear.

Sydney is extremely kind and full of love for EVERYONE. She really loves what she does and it shows. Talking with Sydney is like talking with a friend who is full of wisdom and care. She speaks in a very sensical way, that doesn’t follow a cookie cutter formula- because “no two minds are alike”.
Thank you for your guidance and for truly listening, Sydney! Means everything.

Sydney is very good at listening to the issues that I am experiencing and helping me view the reason from a different angle and coming to a healthier way of coping.

Here’s the thing about Sydney, she will get to the heart of the matter. She has a unique ability to peel off layers of “thoughts” that aren’t true. From the first session she has helped me understand myself and identify old patterns that I have no control over. I can only control my own mind. Mind over matter.!
