About me

"You are not alone, I am here to help!"
It is what I do and who I am. I started in health, fitness, and well-being and moved into other fields until I found my calling in counselling and psychotherapy. Helping others to find their meaning and purpose in life, overcoming their challenges, whatever they may be. To discover the why and the how of who they are. To know what we can change, what to accept and have the wisdom to know the difference. More than the traditional psychology of what is wrong with us, but to flourish. I have been doing this in various forms for more than forty years.

Sydney has been helping me for a few months now . Initially I was sceptical about therapy. However, I now regret not reaching out a long time ago. After a long career in the military and emergency services combined with the day to day problems we all experience in life I didn’t appreciate how many unresolved and unprocessed issues I needed to talk about.
Syd made me feel comfortable with the process of therapy, something I had dismissed for many years. From past trauma to family and relationship concerns Syd has helped me. I’m no longer ashamed to say that I was in a bad place and Syd has helped me to navigate back to my old self . He has given me so many tools to use in the future and I’ll always be grateful for his help and support. His knowledge , professionalism, experience and friendliness has made my experience such a positive one. Thank you.

Working with Sydney has been life changing . I was looking for support with making changes after an ADHD diagnosis, but the knowledge of myself that I have gained has been so much more than I had expected it to be. Sydney is extremely intuitive and knowledgeable, I am yet to have found a problem that he hasn't met with kindness, insight and research based information. I feel like I could not have been matched with a better therapist, not only because of his huge wealth of experience and knowledge, but because he has never failed to make me feel safe, validated and understood. He always comes across as both professional and genuinely compassionate and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Sydney instantly understood me and within the first 10 minutes of our first ever session, I was making progress. It’s remarkable really. In the sessions since we’ve uncovered lots of important discoveries that have really made a big difference to my day to day life.
