About me

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that our behaviors and emotional patterns are shaped by the systems we’re part of and the relationships that have influenced us. I strive to deeply understand each client’s story how they came to see themselves and the world around them and how those perspectives impact their present-day experiences. I believe that, together, we can uncover and work through the obstacles that may be keeping you from living the life you want.

I’ll bring my training in cognitive-behavioral and experiential approaches to support you in a way that feels collaborative, respectful, and attuned to your goals. I work with individuals navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, and difficulties in communication within their relationships or family dynamics. In our initial sessions, we'll take a thoughtful and in-depth look at the concerns bringing you in, and together we'll develop a personalized plan to help you regain a sense of balance and well-being

I have to say that I am very pleased with tahreer. It is very reassuring that she makes herself readily available if you ever need to talk about anything. As a therapist, she is more than qualified to deal with whatever life is throwing at you. But she really excels as a person. She's super easy to talk to and really listens when you need it. On a side note, I also am very appreciative of the advice given from another new parent. I honestly don't know how she could do all the therapy she does AND mother a child, on top of all the regular things she has to do in everyday life. Much respect.
