An amazing listener and truly tries to understand her patients and their needs. Never pushes other therapies if patient isnt interested in those outlets and tries to find alternatives to fit their needs! They make their patients feel heard and will ask questions to further clarify as a way to better understand the situation/thought processes of patient.

I've had two phone counseling sessions with Tamara and they have been extremely low stress and pleasant. She has an absolute wealth of knowledge on how to approach the various issues I've been seeking help for and is an extremely comforting and calm therapist to speak to. She has also offered me worksheets and given me things to think about throughout the weeks and these have helped me progress immensely. I thought talking to someone about my mental health would be extremely stressful and upsetting, but with Tamara it hasn't been, and even my most emotional conversations left me feelings more free than worked up. She is extremely talented and caring and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone else struggling with issues similar to my own.
