About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor licensed in Illinois with 15 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with coping with addictions, trauma and abuse, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, and anger management. I believe that counseling is beneficial for everyone and that identifying and working through areas that may be difficult or having a negative impact on functioning is a positive step. It takes courage and strength and you are worth it.

I cannot say enough great things about Tammy! She is really professional and knowledgeable and excellent at what she does. Helping me journal more, reading and exploring grief and loss material and trying group sessions (which I really recommend!). Tammy is a great therapist! She’s a very good listener and if I get off topic, she brings me back to it. She knows how to treat delicate topics and is knowledgeable in finding healthy ways to deal with my issues and emotions. I also appreciate her empathy and compassion because it shows she really cares. Definitely would recommend her to anyone I know!

Tammy really listened to me and I felt heard even from our first session. I needed help, and scheduling an appointment was a very simple process, and I was able to make an appointment quickly. Could not more highly recommend Tammy.
