About Me

Hello All!

M name is Tasheba and I a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Nevada. I have a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. I received my master's degree in Science with the focus of marriage and family therapy in 2014. Since graduating, working at behavioral health companies, a mental health hospital and a rehabilitation hospital has given me the opportunity to work with diverse populations. I have worked with individuals, teens, families and married couples. I like to call myself a communication cultivator and insight initiator. I give tangible tools and practical application tips to assist in removing those not so good feelings; sadness, depression, hopelessness, anxiety and dissatisfied with life. I understand every client is different and may require a different technique that is unique to his or her current circumstances, therefore I meet each client where they are first and identify what technique would be best. Some of the techniques I do happen to use often are the following: Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused.

I have a passion to assist women to be free from the past, walking in healing, understanding their self-worth and fulfill their God given purpose. In 2016, I started facilitating workshops for teenage girls and young ladies, reminding them of their self-worth. I have been a guest speaker at women empowerment events, women brunches and with various church groups. Through speaking engagements, I shares points on how to over-come from pain and hurt of the past, rise from negative thoughts and beliefs, and empower others to live on this earth with purpose and passion I am a published author. My first book ‘From Stress to Rest’ was published and released January 2020.

I look forward to walking with you on this journey. I look forward to you overcoming things you thought you would not overcome and revitalizing your purpose and passion for life.

There are no words to describe how wonderful Tasheba is. The moment she said hi in our first meeting, I instantly knew how comfortable I would be. She made our first session so easy and I felt SO amazing after!!

Tasheba has kept my goals in focus and continually helps me stay grounded around what I need to do for myself. Her ability to understand and zero in on where there's work that will benefit me the most has been really refreshing and I'm so grateful.

Ive only had one meeting with her (had a technical difficulty during the first one) but shes been super supportive, even with just the one meeting we've had she seems to really understand me and how best to handle my issues and how to work on them. She is helping save my relationship!

Work with me!
