About me

I am a licensed professional counselor in Missouri with over 12 years of experience working as a therapist and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, autism, learning disabilities, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, dialectic behavior therapy, EMDR, and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Tausha is great! She does a great job in truly understanding what I am saying, and she has helped me to see solutions from many different perspectives

Written on Apr 18, 2023 after therapy with Tausha for 3 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, addictions, lgbt, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy-related issues, sleeping disorders, self esteem, career difficulties, coping with life changes, and coaching

Tausha is a lovely therapist. I have discussed many topics such a grief, relationships, family and career. She helped me through an extremely challenging loss and was there even on my lighter days. She listens, understands, doesn't judge and offers several tactical approaches to situations.

Tausha has helped me through my stuggles with family members and my stress level. She offered sound advice and strategies and even said the tough things I need to hear....not necessarily what I want to hear and that helped me tremendously! I feel better prepared to deal with my situations and stop and put into practice the strategies we worked on. I feel better about my role in the relationships I'm working on and have a positive plan to continue in a good direction. I would. and have, highly recommend Tausha and Better Help for therapy. The video sessions really work into my life and make it easier than having to go somewhere. Better Help really helped me at a time when I really needed it and will continue to support me with the strategies I've learned to apply to my life.

Tausha helped me recognize things, patterns, and needs for myself that I never realized before and I’m so grateful. It feels like I’ve known her forever! I’m so happy for this app that I got to connect with her!

Tausha is the best therapist I’ve ever had after 2 decades of therapy! She is helpful with homework assignments, an amazing listener but who will hold you accountable to yourself, and who uses science based therapies to counsel. I cannot say enough good things about my experiences with her!

Tausha is literally my life coach. She lets me know reservations of things that may not work for me or decisions I’m making but fully supports me and guides me to do what is best for me and my mental health. I don’t know what I’d do without her. She’s great!
