About me

*I am currently unable to accept new or returning clients at this time.*

Are you feeling heavy and weighed down by the burdens of anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, parenting, or other life stressors? Are you noticing any added tension and stress from navigating life during a pandemic? Maybe you have been treading water for some time, and are here after mustering up the energy to reach out. You may have come here for a number of reasons - and I’m here to help.

Hello - I’m Tayler, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and I am looking forward to our work together. My clinical experience includes work specifically with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other traumas; work within the family systems in the home; and individual and group counseling with individuals struggling with codependency and substance use disorders. You may not fit into any one particular category that I’ve mentioned; however, my most significant experience is working with the individual, connecting as a person to a person with empathy, compassion, and understanding.

As an avid reader, I enjoy getting lost in a good book. Stories can help us learn and heal. In my approach to counseling, I believe that your story is so important. My hope would be for you to feel safe and comfortable in sharing that story with me. I utilize a person-centered and gestalt approach to counseling, this means that I may focus on the here and now, and I believe that you are the expert of your life. You have the ability to make changes in your life, and I am here to assist you in recognizing your strength and value. Although I tend to lean towards a more non-directive approach to allow you to guide and tailor your counseling experience; I do recognize the value in more directive work such as educating, skill building, practicing communication skills, learning new coping strategies, and setting concrete goals. I may draw from cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and solution-focused therapies to assist in our work together.

I am here to listen, to help you feel heard, to encourage growth, and to assist in tolerating the not so great emotions that come along with life, too!

Please reach out to me to discuss your scheduling needs, if you need to cancel or reschedule.
** I check messages Monday - Friday. I do my best to respond in a timely manner, typically in 1 business day.
***I am off for messaging and live sessions on Saturday and Sunday unless discussed otherwise or an adjustment is made to my schedule.***

She is always looking for ways to help me reframe situations to be able to analyze what is worth my energy and time and what's not. She is extremely helpful and a great listener. She helps me to think more in depth to process my feelings and emotions instead of shoving them away.
