About me

Taylor Holder, LCSW-CGS (Certified Grief Specialist) — I’m a seasoned, compassionate therapist offering online support for people who carry a lot—at work, at home, and in their hearts. My care is individualized, practical, and hope-centered. Together we’ll strengthen coping, steady emotions, and build tools to help you move forward with more clarity, purpose, and self-trust.
Who I help: Business owners and professionals under pressure; caregivers (including helping professionals) facing burnout or compassion fatigue; aging adults and family caretakers; and parents/adults navigating grief, loss, and major life transitions. I also provide affirming care for intersex clients and parents of infants/children who need support and help navigating medical care, social construct challenges and more. I bring 35+ years of national/international advocacy and education in intersex awareness to the table for parents and individuals challenged with the stigmas associated with the natural variances. If spirituality is important to you, I can include it as part of a holistic mind-body-spirit approach—always with respect and without pressure.

Why I do this work: I’m dedicated to helping people build a meaningful life—even in dark seasons. Grief has touched my own family through the loss of my youngest daughter, and that lived experience deepens the care I bring to grieving parents and anyone walking through heartbreak. There’s no set timeline, but there is a path forward. We can “grow forward”—with support for mind, body, and spirit.

Approach & next step: Reaching out can feel hard—especially when you’ve been holding so much for so long. Depending on your needs, our work may include CBT, motivational interviewing, relational therapy techniques, creative arts-based interventions (including art-immersion methods), and holistic mind-body-spirit support. I’ll tailor our work to you and your goals from mixed methods which you and I will always discuss together. This is your journey and I look forward to providing you the support you deserve.
