About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a vast array of experience in working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, as well as coping with everyday challenges. I believe in a person centered approach and provide a supportive and validating environment to share your story. I feel that it is a privilege to work with individuals to help improve their quality of life. My approach is tailored uniquely to each individual's needs. I believe there is a strong mind/body connection and we explore together ways to relieve negative emotions with a variety of tools including mindfulness, spirituality, cognitive-behavioral, and psychoeducation-to name a few. I also teach my clients to learn self-compassion as we are often the hardest on ourselves. I look forward to getting to know you, and working together to help improve your daily life.

I've never had a therapist who understands my concerns and primary focus as much as Teri. She's helped me navigate through so much in the time that I've been working with her and I wouldn't be managing my current life situations and stress nearly as well if I didn't have her. She remembers things we talk about week to week and helps me link them together. Teri is fantastic.

Teri is a wonderful therapist! I am so fortunate to have been matched with her. She is kind, compassionate, and gentle. She has helped me navigate through the loss of my son. I could not have gotten through without her. I highly recommend Teri.
