We have worked with several therapists in person over the years to work on our communication and parenting skills. We have a somewhat complicated situation as we are currently fully nomadic and have multiple neurodivergent family members including a preteen with some pretty severe behavioral challenges.
We feel like Terry has almost immediately been able to get the full-picture of our family and our needs, and supports us in developing important skills that we were lacking as parents. We have seen huge improvements in our son and both our ability to communicate with him and he with us and his siblings.
We highly recommend meeting with Terry, if you're on the fence about whether or not he and BetterHelp can benefit your family!

Therapy with Terrill is not at all what I expected. I had this preconceived notion of what therapy was supposed to be like and I honestly didn't think I would be continuing this for any significant amount of time. Terrill changed that perception. He listened, he offered solutions, he was proactive to our session and not reactive or judgy. I appreciate the fact that Terrill is fluid allowing me to move through work and home which are often interconnected. Overall I'm highly satisfied with the service provided.

Terry is the first therapist I've felt true connection with. His calm demeanour has a strange way of calming me and making me feel more comfortable than with any one else. Terry listens in ways I wish I only could and makes you feel seen and validated. I cannot recommend him enough. He never forces sessions to move faster than they should, and really allows you to open up and be vulnerable as you are ready, in your own time. I have been to many therapists before but with Terry, I feel like I've grown and developed more in a few weeks, than I did over years with other therapists. If you are someone who is anxious and unsure of how to let go of your past, where to even begin or want to find the root cause of it all, Terry is the perfect person to help. I'm so glad he found me and has been matched to my psychological needs.

Terry is amazing, intelligent, understanding and relatable. I was unsure if connecting with a bloke from across the world would work for me. But BetterHelp has put me in touch with a therapist I can truely relate too. I was only going to sign up for a month and dump the account, but I believe Terry will be able to help me through my issues and I can’t see a short term future without his guidance.
