I utilize Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to assist in coping with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and the stressors of your daily life. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri since 2004 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Masters of Education in Counseling. I am certified as an Executive Coach and a Six Sigma Green Belt in Process Improvement.
Starting in 2000 as a Counselor with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in the Office of Adult Learning and Rehabilitation Services, I have worked with a multitude of clients. Promoted to Statewide Director of Quality Assurance in 2013, I have helped guide over 130 Master level Counselors provide quality services to nearly 14,000 clients a year. Retired from the State of Missouri, I currently hold a private practice; contracting through telehealth to provide an innovative experience for you to reach your goal.

Tim listens to every word I have to say. Seriously I couldn't have asked for a better therapist. He understands me and provides me knowledge on what I am speaking to him about.

Tim routinely sends follow-ups / action items for me to work on. I've found them to be extremely helpful during those periods in-between sessions. They keep me focused & on track.

Gives sound advice and helps clients with life troubles. Recommend to all! A+!

Tim makes therapy friendly. His laid back air can be disarming at first. He's not like a stereotypical therapist, constantly asking "How does that make you feel?" He'll just ask you about your day, and lets conversation flow naturally. However, he eventually drills down on whatever is bothering you, and tries to come up with solutions for it. Because he doesn't force anything on you, you do have to take the initiative for lasting change though. I would recommend Tim for anyone not sure about therapy. His conversational style makes it easy to start talking, and when he hits the bullseye, he nails it.
