I have provided individual, group, and couples/family therapy for over 20 years and in a variety of settings. I embrace my client's unique style and purpose to assist them toward the change they want. While I have had extensive training in addictions, trauma, personality styles, and various "evidence-based" interventions, I have discovered one thing-There is no magic bullet-if it did exists, wouldn't we all be doing it? The client creates our purpose and direction, I simply guide and assist them along the way. Whether I'm working with couples or individuals we adapt our approach to fit the clients needs. And regardless if it's a trauma, loss of a loved one, or a loss of a relationship, I found shame to be at the center of it all. Shame that says I'm not good enough didn't do it well enough, or "I'm" simply not enough. I walk clients down an alternate path of hope and success as well as a more accurate self-assessment.
