I am a social worker licensed in Alabama and Florida with over 10 years of experience working as a therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma related challenges, addiction to substances, and psychosis.
I believe it is important my patients feel comfortable engaging with me and know they will never be judged for anything they disclose during session. I believe the moment this occurs work will halt as honesty between us is essential to healing. I believe in treating everyone with care, respect, and being genuine with my patients. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, rational emotive behavior therapy, and dialectic behavioral therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes effort and work to make changes to our lives. When we work together in a collaborative effort we can make the progress you desire. My hope is to see you be successful and help you achieve the quality of life you desire and deserve.
I look forward to working with you!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Timothy Rowell. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Didn't know what to expect through therapy, but Tim walked me through it every step of the way. He taught me a lot, gave me tools to succeed, called me out when I needed it, and showed me how to be mindful of myself. I was surprised how quickly he got down to the core of my issues and am thankful for all the times we met. I feel like I'm going down the right track now
He’s helped me so much over the past several months and I can’t thank him enough
I am so very thankful that a friend recommended Better help! My therapist has been a God send. I don't feel as lost or misunderstood. He provides I different perspective helping me to look at things differently. He has hit every nail on the head, so to speak.
