About me
I specialise in helping individuals break free from the grip of addiction and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. Addiction is not a sign of weakness, it is a complex challenge that affects the mind, body, and spirit. My role is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore the root causes of addictive behaviours and discover new ways to cope, heal, and grow.
With training in evidence-based approaches and an understanding of the recovery process, I work with you to develop strategies that are tailored to your needs. Together, we will focus on building resilience, strengthening relationships, and finding healthy outlets that bring meaning and balance back into your life. I believe in progress, not perfection, and that every step forward, no matter how small, is worth celebrating.
I am particularly interested in working with clients at transition points in recovery, such as leaving treatment or beginning to re-engage with everyday life. I believe these moments are both opportunities for growth and times of heightened vulnerability. My work in relapse prevention supports clients as they prepare for the challenges ahead.
My training provides me with an ethical and theoretical foundation, but it is my lived experience that deepens my practice. Counselling for me is both a professional vocation and a personal calling. What drives me is the desire to help people suffering with addiction to rediscover hope, self-worth, and the possibility of a fulfilling life.
