About me

Welcome. I’m so glad you reached out today. We are in the middle of unprecedented challenges, and you do not have to face them alone.

I’m a Psychotherapist, Personal & Professional Coach, Hypnotherapist, Career Counselor, and Yoga & Meditation teacher with 25 years of experience supporting others along their life path.

~~I believe in my clients~~
I believe in their inherent wisdom and resources. I’ve had the honor of witnessing my clients move inner and outer mountains to make positive life changes as they become who they are meant to become. I believe this work as not about fixing someone or solving a problem, but about fostering self-awareness and providing the tangible tools one can use for a lifetime. I see myself as a facilitator and collaborator to empower my clients to find their own answers and use those answers to take clear and confident action in their life.

~~How I Am~~
My natural way of being is grounded, curious, compassionate, and intuitive. Over the years, my clients and students have described me as open, insightful, warm, nurturing, creative, efficient, engaging, and a good listener. While our work is undoubtedly serious at times, humor is essential as well. I provide a stable, safe space in which to negotiate life transitions, grow, and create the life you desire.

~~How I Work~~
I’m a Holistic or Integrative therapist, which means I work with the head, heart, body, and spirit to facilitate healing and transformation.
I interweave traditional talk therapy and life coaching with CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectic behavior therapy), somatic explorations, and mindfulness designed to bring profound, lifelong transformation. I offer you tangible tools that make our work efficient, and that you can take with you for the rest of your life.

~~Where I’ve Worked~~
I’ve worked in hospitals, schools, colleges, career centers, corporations, and non-profits.
I founded and directed a large healing arts center where I managed 25 employees, offering yoga classes and other healing services.
I’ve also worked for Stanford Law School’s Career Center, at an eating disorders program, and as a clinical supervisor for a community therapy clinic.

~~Other Things I Do~~
I’ve been a Yoga & Meditation teacher for 19 years, and have led numerous retreats in-person and online.
I’m a blogger and writer, as well as an avid nature photographer and videographer.
I use all of my creations to inspire and uplift, and to teach others how to create a life with purpose, connection, and meaning.

This is a challenging time for all of us. I’m here to walk with you through these uncertain days.
I look forward to working with you.
