About me
Hello,
My name is Tory and I have been working with individuals on the path of behavioral health wellness for 15 years, 6 of which have all been in outpatient therapy. Outside of traditional outpatient therapy I have worked in residential settings ranging from programs designed to address the needs of young boys, to adults who have struggled with mental wellness and addictions, I have also been an advocate through case management and community based services, as well as work to create quality based services from an administrative perspective.
From the front lines to the organizational level I have been rewarded with many experiences that have helped me to better understand the needs of the people I work with and assist them with obtaining the goals and quality of life that they have envisioned for themselves.
While I have experience in working with depression, anxiety, trauma (adverse life experiences), attachment/relationship issues, and addictions, my approach remains to be solution focused strength based one. What this means is regardless of the “problem” we always build our momentum and conversation around the desired outcome identified by none other than yourself . Through this dialogue we examine your strengths, resources, and experiences that have/can move you closer to your desired outcome. By using this approach we avoid the time consuming portion of therapy digging into the past and immediately begin moving towards the desired outcome.
We will explore not the “why” but the “what” “how” and “when”. I believe that we all contain within us the answers to the questions related to our experiences, goals, and overall destiny and find joy in assisting with facilitating a process of self-discovery and growth. If you’re ready to activate and move towards the change you want to see I look forward to speaking with you soon!
Congratulations in taking the next step to growth and healing, I look forward to accompanying you on this journey.
Be Well,
Tory

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Tory Graham. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I’m new to BetterHelp and to therapy. I was paired with Tory and it was a great onboarding. Tory was patient and carefully listened to my untidy thoughts and reasons why I wanted to start a therapy and he got quickly to work, asking questions and guiding my thoughts to places I wouldn’t naturally go. He helped me reflect, exposed some of my contradictions. I really liked the conversations we had as it always left me feeling a little more optimistic and a little in tune with myself.

Tory has been incredible to work with. I appreciate how well he is at active listening & he has remarkable patience with me as I struggle to find the words to express my emotions. I am thankful for the tools I am learning and look forward to my sessions with Tory.

Tory thoughtfully listens to what you are saying and doesn't jump to conclusions - but through the sessions asks the hard questions that help you develop your own conclusions. He isn't afraid to be honest with you while leading you in a positive path forward.
