About me
Hi, my name is Tracey, and I have been practicing for over 20 years. I specialize in treating Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Personality Disorders, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I have enjoyed working with children, adolescents, families and young adults for the duration of my career, and I have enjoyed working with LGBT clients for the last ten years. In addition, I have done faith based counseling per client request. Each of these groups of people has unique needs and strengths, and I try to make sure their treatment plans reflect that. I typically use a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ERP - Exposure and Response Prevention, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Humanistic Client Centered Therapy and Family Therapies. I have used certified therapy dogs in my practice for the last 15 years, and I have enjoyed seeing so many clients benefit from animal assisted therapy. Most of my therapy dogs have been labradors or golden retrievers, and they have all been rescued. Outside of work I enjoy reading, yard work, home improvement projects, thrifting, hiking, and visiting the beach. I learn just as much from my clients as I have from my professional education and training. In fact, I am humbled and grateful to have gone along the therapy journey with so many clients.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Tracey Byram. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Tracey's style of therapy is very personal, finding ways to make the healing process conversational and not as formulaic as other therapists. I've been enjoying my time speaking with her, getting to know her, and getting a much more personal connection with my therapist, which in hand has made my healing process feel so much more personal.
Professional and kind
I had to go through a few therapists before I happened upon Tracey. They are a complete gem and I am blessed to have them on my team. Tracey is very understanding and makes the therapy process comfortable. They are very easy going and their availability is perfect for a working schedule. I would recommend them to anyone who asks.
Very cooperative and professional.
She is very empathic & knowledgeable in helping me achieve overall wellness!
She's awesome. She's the reason I came back to betterhelp. I've worked with a few different therapists. Tracey is one I really connect with and I feel that she actually understands me and a lot of what I've been through. I highly recommend her!
I’ve only had a few sessions with Tracey so far but she’s an amazing therapist. You can tell she understands and wants to help. She also listens to everything you have to say. 10/10 would recommend especially if you’re looking for a therapist that knows how to handle trauma related issues. I’m super grateful that BetterHelp matched me with her.
Tracey has been tremendous. She is highly perceptive and has excellent insight. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Tracey is quick to understand and assess my situation. She is super proactive and has made a world of difference in my life.
Tracey is soooo amazing. She's the first therapist I've had in years who truly understands me and really take the time to hear what I have to say. She makes me feel safe and is able to calm me down if need be.
She gives me activities to help my problems and as long as I act on them they really help!
She's just a wonderful human being!
I love working with Tracey. I have felt comfortable since the beginning, and I don’t even slightly feel judged. She tells me exactly what I need to hear, even if it’s not what I want to hear.
I've enjoyed working with Tracy. She's been very helpful.
I really like Tracey and our conversation. It really felt like it was just two friends talking which really made me comfortable to discuss problems with her!
She’s fantastic.
Tracey is a great counselor with many years experience. She is knowledgeable, patient, and understanding. As a result of her experience, she can get at the root of issues relatively quickly to begin an effective treatment program. I'm grateful to have Ms. Byram's help in making peace with my trauma and mental illness.
