Hello. My name is Tracey Reno and I bring with me, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, a wealth of life experience that has contributed to my passion for helping others. I have had the privilege to work with people from all different backgrounds with vastly different distress and concerns. And although we are each unique individuals with unique stories, one thing we have in common is a vulnerability we feel when taking a chance to share our deep struggles with another person. I get that. It is a difficult decision to make that takes courage and inner strength. Yet the support you will receive in doing so is positively transformative. This is the gift of therapy! A safe space, judgement free zone where you feel heard and treated with positive regard. This is my mission and is how I am dedicated to providing support for each and every person I am fortunate to work with.
My approach is warm, empathetic, and person centered. Meeting people where they are in their readiness for change is where we start. I believe that people are the experts in their own lives and my role is to walk alongside them facilitating insight for the changes they would like to make to live the life they imagine. Empowering people to tap into their strengths to overcome their obstacles sharing the tools that will help them to do so is key. Positive psychology (strength based), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT- addressing negative/distorted thoughts), Mindfulness, Transtheoretical Model (stages of change) and Solution Focused interventions are all those I use. I have experience working with anxiety, panic, social anxiety, depression, weight management, relationship issues, infidelity, divorce, parenting, and stress management.
In closing, a favorite quote that a professor shared during graduate school is one I like to pass along for helpful reflection during times of struggle - "There is nothing wrong with you, that can't be fixed by what is right with you." You can stand up to your obstacles and do something about them with the right support. If you are ready to take the next step, I am happy to work with you to help.

Tracey has been so supportive, empathetic, understanding and encouraging the entire time we have worked together. It took some time for me to really get into the swing of it but she was, and continues to be, so incredibly patient with me. I am so blessed to be able to work with her through this time in my life, and am so happy with the work we’ve done and will continue to do!
Tracey has been a great help to me. She's very nice and patient. I'm starting to see things from a different perspective and see the ways of my thinking processes I need to change. Change isn't always easy but now I'm seeing how I need to try. I hope to further my treatment with Tracey.
Tracy, has been an extreme asset to my development over the last few months that I notice a huge difference in how I speak to myself and creating stronger relationships with others. I also have no panic attacks or react with strong emotions now when problems arise, I'm using the strategies of cognitive behavioral therapy and practicing self-awareness.
I would 100% recommend Tracy. She is so supportive and understanding with whatever I am having trouble with. Even with certain aspects of my life that aren't her expertise she was very good at calming me down and talking through what I was thinking and alternative ways of getting where I needed. I've seriously adjusted my way of thinking since I started talking to her and I'm so so glad I went through with counseling.
Tracey has been extremely helpful in assisting me to parcel and navigate complex emotions related to post trauma and grief. She provided me a place to express myself and then parceled my thoughts to help me view them and change my moods and emotions. She’s been an asset during a difficult time.
Tracey Reno is AWESOME! She understands me in every aspect. She’s so smart and give the best professional advice. She has given me worksheets that have really helped me learn more about myself. She answers in a timely manner.
Tracey has been a great help in working through my anxieties. She gives me tips and worksheets to help manage difficult anxious moments. I am very thankful for the amount of time she takes to get to know me individually. She is very supportive and has helped me find happiness.
When I had initially decided to seek help using this service, I did have concerns. I had worried that my Counselor would not understand the goals of improved mental health were tied to my Faith as a Christian. I was also worried that my counselor would be judgmental of where I was when I had started.
I can tell you that with Tracey, I was relieved. She listened with a compassionate ear, was never judgmental. She was able to provide counsel, and methods that have helped me progress. Initially, it's difficult to determine anyone's goal with faith or what that means to them--Tracey had clued in rather fast, but also stayed dynamic as my own goals change with counsel. She's been a blessing, and a much appreciated help. I'd recommend her to anyone seeking help, and wanting to work to that end.
I’ve only had Tracey as a therapist for just over a week. Our first session was better than any session I’ve ever had. She was able to gather a lot of info about me and my concerns with life. I felt supported but given amazing techniques to be able to help myself.
Tracey is amazing!!! She listens to me and always follow through with feedback and tools that I can use. She responds timely and is always available when I need her. She is very encouraging and makes me feel like I'm not battling my personal issues alone.
Though I only had one video session and some correspondence via text, Tracy has been a tremendous help to me. She was not only there to hear me, she had the understanding and expertise to help me see my way through some difficult issues in my career and work relationships.
