About me

Hi, my name is Tracy. I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C) with 23 years of professional experience. I value authenticity, humility, and compassion in my practice. I utilize a strengths-based perspective when working with clients to empower them, and believe in the importance of a holistic approach to healing. My philosophy is based on transformation education, which involves the intentional transformation of oneself and one's environment to promote positive change. I have spent the last 18 years providing school-based mental health services to children and adolescents in the public school system. I'm compassionate, approachable, and present with my clients. My expertise are in ADHD, PTSD, and child trauma. I am passionate about child advocacy, mentoring, and coaching. I've worked with various populations, including survivors of child abuse and trauma, developmentally disabled adults and children, medically fragile children, survivors of domestic violence, behavioral disorders and mood disorders, eating disorders, children with learning disabilities, and children and families in foster care. I'm a boy mom and a dog lover. I value hard work, honesty, and compassion. I'm energetic, positive, and encouraging. In my free time, I enjoy staying active, being outdoors, and spending quality time with my sons.

I've only met with Tracy once. However, I found the session very helpful.

Tracy is the best! So down to earth and real! She truly tries to get to know you and guide you to what works for you, not what the book says to do. She’s so comfortable and easy to talk to about anything

This was my first experience with counseling , and I was cautious and didn't know what to expect. Tracy made me feel comfortable and not weirded out by the process. I left the session feeling a bit lighter than I did before it started. Can't wait to schedule another session with her.
