About me

I am a licensed therapist with 7 years clinical experience in the mental health field. During this time I've worked to help people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and addiction. I also have experience in providing couples counseling to couples looking to learn new communication skills and reignite that spark. I like to take a client-centered approach and work together with clients to identify effective coping skills, prioritize treatment goals, adopt healthier thought patterns, and build on existing strengths. I use various assessment tools, cognitive behavioral therapies, motivational interviewing, and other trauma (and healing from trauma), attachment, and regulation modalities.

Thank you and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you soon!

Travis has been a wonderful resource for me in my journey. He has done a phenomenal job of providing a comfortable space for me to discuss whatever is topically relevant in my life, and he has also done amazing work in encouraging my growth from a mental, emotional, and spiritual perspective. I would highly recommend Travis to anyone who is seeking a kind, empathetic ear.

While we’re only a few sessions in, I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to get connected to and begin meeting regularly with Travis through BetterHelp’s platform. I’m looking forward to our journey together while also putting in the needed work to deal with my own parental trauma and begin truly healing.

To be honest, I was actually planning to I try BetterHelp, while looking for a therapist I could meet with locally in person. That idea immediately went out the window after our first session and I’m invested in this over the long haul with Travis.
