Trenye has been very friendly and relatable. I really enjoy talking to her.
Shes super calm and easy going and it helps keep me calm and focus on being open about what's on my mind. Even when I am upset she waits for me to calm down so I can respond with a clear head. Although we have only had a few sessions so far I feel like she has been a huge relief and the exercises that are planned out in the future I feel will be really helpful :)
This is my first experience with therapy so at first I was naturally apprehensive. That being said, Trenye has been both professional and exceptional, helping me figure out and express what I'm feeling, and in addressing what my needs are. She gives me options to explore and helps me find solutions to my obstacles. She goes at my pace when I need to slow down and encourages me when I'm experiencing breakthroughs. She has helped me immensely so far.
Trenye is a compassionate listener; in doing so she helped me navigate through a difficult time while guiding supporting coping skills they served me well. I highly recommend Trenye.
I didn’t know what to expect going into this, I was a bit nervous. But I felt comfortable talking to Trenye and opening up to her. She offers a good viewpoint and allows me to share my thoughts with her without judgment. I was going through a really rough time mentally and emotionally and it was great to have her to talk to. I think she’s a great counselor and is very knowledgeable about effective ways to handle/cope with relationship issues.
Fantastic. She is very understanding of my situation and works with me at my pace and comfort level.
Trenye has been a really great asset during a really rough time. We’ve been working together for a little over three weeks now, and she has been nothing but patient, compassionate, positive, and helpful. She is also wicked quick; she was able to detect issues in just a couple days talking (and not even in official sessions!) that took me years to figure out. She gives practical advice and suggestions that, with time and commitment, have made a really hard time a little easier for me to deal with.
I can tell counseling and helping others is a true passion for Trenye Black. I find that she has a trained ear and experience. Her communication style and expertise help you feel comfortable and safe to share your story and helps you find the motivation and inspiration to begin on the journey of healing. She helps you set realistic goals and helps you stay focused on them.
