About me

I am a licensed psychotherapist with extensive experience serving diverse populations struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, and various medical conditions such as cancer and chronic illness. I believe the most important catalyst for change is the relationship between therapist and client.

My goal is to partner with you to reach your desired goals in a therapeutic environment. We will take these steps together to foster positive change while creating individual strategies for self-empowerment.

I have been trained in EMDR which is a theory based on the belief that our brains have a natural system for processing information and experiences so that we can keep what we need for wisdom, learning, and growth. EMDR uses eye movements and other right-left stimulation to activate your brain’s processing system so you can successfully process past experiences and let go of what is not useful to you.

I believe our past effects our present and future- both in adaptive and maladaptive ways. I would be honored to be a part of your journey to emotional wellbeing, inner peace, and self-love

Tricia is always there to listen and help me sort through things. Her judgement, knowledge and compassion have created a very supportive and comforting relationship.

Tricia is always there and always supportive. She gives guidance where needed and space to talk when that’s what I need. She’s truly amazing.

I’ve been talking to Tricia weekly for almost a year now. She has become what feels like a close friend. She validates my feelings, gives me space to feel them, then helps me move through them. She is a graceful, caring energy, and I am grateful to have her on my support team. My life has completely turned around since she’s entered it. The only reason I would not recommend her to anyone is so that there is more availability for me!

Super nice, and honestly really refreshing to talk to.

Written on Mar 04, 2023 after therapy with Tricia for 3 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, grief, self esteem, coping with life changes, compassion fatigue, and adhd

Tricia is kind, non-judgmental, and creates an immediate safe space. She listens intently, recalls details I would not anticipate her to remember, and is very thoughtful. She communicates well in writing and in session, and recommends good homework, books to read, etc. I couldn’t be happier.
