About me

Hello! My name is Nicole Reed, and I have over 20 years' experience in the mental health world. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in two States. I have successfully assisted children, adolescents and adults who have suffered a traumatic event in their life.
For 12 years of my career, I specialized in helping survivors of sexual abuse and assault. Many people are able to express they feel depressed, anxious, low self-worth, parenting issues, sexual identify, sleep difficulty and grief. For many it is harder to understand how trauma affects and amply those symptoms. Sometimes even harder to admit a life experience was traumatic.
I utilized Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focus Therapy, Trauma-Focus: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Procovery and Mindfulness to help you through this journey.
I believe in healing the mind, body and soul. No matter what you have experienced if you are suffering there is a better way. I look forward to helping you find it.

I can really feel like I'm making progress with her and it makes happy. It's not a smooth, upwards journey but she reassures me when I have doubts.

During our conversation , we discussed several of my concerns, and she truly hit the nail on the head. She identified my issues with precision and provided strategic, realistic ways to cope and build my confidence. The conversation was very down-to-earth, and I never felt apprehensive or intimidated. She offered real-life perspectives on how I should view certain situations- things I had seen as negative, and she reframed them positively and then guided me with practical strategies to manage my stressors and strengthen my self-assurance

Nicole has been a huge help and big eye opener for me. She is very considerate but also very honest and raw about situations with yourself. I definitely enjoy having her and the ability to have an open conversation with her without feeling judged.

I absolutely love Nicole. She always takes the time to hear me and let me know not just what she’s hearing but what she’s seeing in my physical and emotion state. She watches behaviours while listening and asks the sometimes hard questions which is why I’m here. 1000 stars out of 5! Highly recommend
