Vanessa Williams, LPC
About me
I believe healing begins in relationships where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provide a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed space where individuals and couples can explore life's challenges without judgment.
I specialize in working with trauma, relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the lasting impact of difficult experiences. Whether you're navigating communication challenges, healing from betrayal or interpersonal violence, struggling with self-worth, or feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or stress, I will meet you where you are while helping you move toward meaningful and lasting change.
My approach is attachment-based, person-centered, and evidence-informed, integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices. I focus not only on reducing symptoms but also on helping clients develop emotional resilience, healthier relationship patterns, and a stronger connection to themselves and the people who matter most.
I believe therapy should be both compassionate and practical. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your existing strengths, and create a path toward healing that aligns with your values and goals.
Seeking therapy is a courageous first step. If you're ready to invest in your emotional well-being and create healthier relationships—with yourself and others—I would be honored to walk alongside you on that journey.
