Dr. Veronica Medina

About Me

My name is Veronica Medina, Ph.D., LCPC, LMHC, and I am a bilingual therapist and psychologist. I am licensed to practice in the great state of Illinois and Indiana. I have been practicing for more than 20 years and have served families, couples, and individuals. Today, I am a manager for the foster care system. I supervise young clinicians who provide therapy to children in foster care; this is very rewarding.
I believe these are my best years, age of 64 because I no longer have the stressors of raising a family or achieving a degree or license. I am ready to share my knowledge, skills, and abilities on trauma, depression, anxiety, and work stress. I can say I have a holistic approach to therapy. I always talk about the mind-body because we can make ourselves physically sick, we can also keep ourselves healthy. Stress is all around us. Stress affects our lives, relationships, careers, and, most importantly, our bodies. Let's talk.
